The Gift of Free Will

The free will, a gift from God. In my youth, I always referred to this gift. Freedom, free will seemed to be the most important thing. Do everything and leave everything. Regularly ask God for forgiveness. I never felt alone, always with God by my side, even if I wasn't always exemplary. God was always there! In search of the meaning of life, you get older, gradually realize you are living alone. Doing everything and leaving everything you want, doesn't necessarily fulfill you. You realize taking responsibility, being there for the family, raising a family yourself and striving for God's love, suddenly seems more valuable. The more you dedicate yourself to the question of what the meaning of life is, the clearer the answer seems to become to me. God gave us free will so that we would give it up voluntarily? Why? Why do I ask myself. Why not? My whole life God was there for me, accompanied me, whether I was good or bad. God loves me and that will not change. God has a plan for all of us. Perhaps we should recognize that we are part of God's plan. A puzzle piece - the free will that can never be perfect. My plan, my free will in search of the meaning of life, in search of God, leads me to God. Now I stand here before you my Lord, anxious and joyful. Not knowing what may come and I ask you. Take my will. Fulfill your plan. For you are my God, my shepherd.
